Impressive Size Total GEM Spessartite Garnet, Cushion Checkerboard Cut, 89.25 carats -- SOLD

Now this is a GEMSTONE! Very impressive orangey red spessartite garnet gemstone of unheard of size. Spessartite, or for that matter any of the dark hues of garnet gemstones of this size range would normally be almost black. So saturated in color that you would need to hold it up to the sun to see any color. This extreme gem has a beautiful medium dark orange-red color. I'm not sure of the locality of this gemstone but i suspect Sri Lanka. African stones I have never seen in this size and quality before. Nicely cut with excellent proportions, this gemstone is simply AWESOME.
