Gemstone Certificate Comments:
The color of this gem reminds me of a very special aquamarine that I sold many years ago. I had just brought back a parcel of very fine rough when someone I know very well (won't mention names)who grabbed a piece of rough out of the parcel. He later cut the stone and mounted it in a ring which he gave to his wife. Before the gem was mounted he showed it to a few dealers, one of whom offered him $ 1,000/carat for it! And this was back in 1986! The color of this little gem is an intense sea foam color. The gem is eye clean despite what the image shows.
